Self - the language

Self is an experimental programming system developped at Sun Microsystems. The language itself is similar to Smalltalk, except that it uses Russell Allen. Much information can be found at http://research.sun.com/self/index.html. A slightly more linux-friendly version is being developed at http://www.gliebe.de/self/index.html. Of course, between glibc-2.2 binaries and an uncooperative source tree, I haven't actually seen it run.
