These are true plugins. They can be plugged/unplugged, i.e they can be either external or internal.
They talk to the VM via the 'interpreterProxy'.
Internal plugins are accessed via pluginExports. The pluginExports was invented for the benifits of barebone systems.
External plugins do not need pluginExports, they are accessed via OS magic ;-)
