I'm revisiting Smalltalk after a long time away. When I first saw Squeak I nearly fell over.

Unfortunately, I was reminded of the aspect I find most frustrating about using Smalltalk – too much mousing! I know that this is "the Smalltalk way", but I want to be able to switch between windows and panes much faster, using the keyboard. As an old Emacser, it always feels like a tiny defeat when I have to take my hands off the keyboard.

So – my ongoing Squeak project aims to make keyboard navigation better.

Of course, it's possible I'm missing big chunks of functionality in Squeak that do this already (ie. window/pane nav/moving/resizing etc). If it's in default Squeak already, someone please let me know!
