Bill Cattey
Last updated at 4:31 pm UTC on 14 January 2006

Bill Cattey is a Programmer/Manager at MIT.

He works on Athena, the School-wide academic computing infrastructure.

He has been interested in high performance programming paradigms ever since being mentored by Gerry Sussman as an MIT undergraduate.

He mentioned Smalltalk in his undergraduate thesis in 1983, but didn't actually program in it until January 1999.

Has been bitten big time by the Squeak bug and hopes to form a group at MIT that makes a big contribution to the effort.
