After the successful SqueakEnd '00 event, it was suggested on the list that a sister event on the east coast to follow could be very nice.
The suggestion is that it be held at the University of Pittsburgh, on a date still to be announced. The first weekend of May looks interesting, expecially because it does not conflict with the Apple event later in the month.
Here is where we can keep track of the ongoing process of setting up the event.
Participation by Squeak Central?
I imagine that quite a bit of the success of the SqueakEnd was the substantial participation of the Disney guys. Is there the possibility of some involvement of their expertise in this venture? (jla)
Ivan Brusic would like to create a very informal meeting with New England Squeakers. If the SqueakEast were to be held in Atlanta, I could possibly make it.
