Folks -
I have just created a new 2.7 folder on the UIUC server, and have stored there a Mac .sea file with new VM, plugins, image and changes.
I've also put the image and changes there unpackaged for the convenience of non-mac users who wish to get early access to the 2.7 image (which should run fine in most cases with a 2.6 VM), and from which supporters of the other platforms may make up the corresponding platform-specific packages for 2.7. Remember these must be fetched in raw-binary mode with no gratuitous text conversions.
FYI, there are now 5 associated plugins that go with the VM

Presumably further announcements will follow as packages are prepared for the other platforms.
